FAQ

Questions, answered straight

If your question is not here, ask it on the demo call or write to us — and we will add the answer to this page.

Getting started

How long does setup take?

An afternoon for a single-doctor clinic. Your clinic details, your doctors and their timings, your services and fees, and you can start booking. We do the first setup with you on the demo call if you want.

Do we need new computers?

No. It runs in a browser on whatever the front desk already has, including a tablet. The waiting-room display works on any screen with a browser, including a smart TV.

Can we move our existing patient list in?

Yes. Send us what you have — a spreadsheet, an export from your old software — and we will tell you honestly what can be imported cleanly and what cannot.

Does the receptionist need training?

A walkthrough of about half an hour is usually enough, because reception only sees front-desk screens. If a screen needs more explaining than that, we treat it as our bug.

Is there a free trial?

Yes, and it does not ask for a card. Start from the signup page, or ask on the demo call and we will set it up with your real clinic details.

Features

Can two or more doctors use it at the same time?

Yes. Each doctor has their own slots, their own queue and their own token series, and the front desk sees them side by side. Plan limits decide how many doctors and staff logins you can have.

Does it work for walk-in-heavy clinics?

That is the normal case here, not the exception. A walk-in is added in seconds and joins the same queue as booked patients.

Can I print prescriptions on my letterhead?

Yes — with our header, or with the header switched off if you print on pre-printed stationery. Your registration number and signature are on it either way.

What reminders go out automatically?

Six: booking confirmed, a nudge before the appointment, the paid bill with its invoice, the prescription, a follow-up reminder two days ahead, and one on the day if no appointment has been booked. Each can be switched off and each is written in your words.

Is there an app?

No, and that is deliberate. Everything runs in a browser, so there is nothing to install or update at the clinic, and your patients need nothing on their phone to book.

Does it work in Hindi?

The product is in English today. The typeface we use covers Devanagari, so a Hindi version can ship without redesigning anything — tell us if it would decide your purchase, because that moves it up the list.

Pricing and billing

What does it cost?

Three plans, priced in rupees per month, with doctor and staff limits stated on the pricing page. GST at 18% is extra.

Is there a setup fee or a per-patient charge?

No. One subscription covers the clinic. Adding a patient never costs you anything.

What happens if I hit a plan limit?

It tells you, rather than failing quietly. A doctor beyond your limit is refused with a message; message allowances pause and the log records why. Nothing is deleted, and moving up a plan releases the limit immediately.

Can I cancel?

Yes, from inside the product. What happens to a part-used period, and how long we keep your data afterwards, is in the Refund & Cancellation Policy and the Terms.

Data and security

Where is our data stored?

In a database that belongs to your clinic alone rather than a shared one, encrypted in transit and at rest. The hosting region is named on the security page and in the sub-processor list, so you can check it rather than take our word for it.

Can Sqavio staff read our patient records?

We do not browse clinic data. Support access to an account is deliberate, limited and recorded in the audit trail, so you can see that it happened.

Who is responsible for patient data under the DPDP Act?

Your clinic is the Data Fiduciary — you decide why patient data is collected and what happens to it. We are the Data Processor acting on your instructions. Our Data Processing Agreement puts that in writing, and the security page explains what each role means in practice.

Do you store card details?

Never. Card and UPI details are handled by Razorpay or Cashfree, who are regulated for it. Those numbers do not reach a Sqavio server.

Can we get our data out?

Yes, whenever you want, and again on the way out. Your own database makes that a clean export rather than a filtered slice of someone else’s table.

Support

How do we reach you when something breaks?

Email support on any plan, priority WhatsApp on Clinic and above, and a named contact on Group. Response commitments are written in the SLA rather than promised loosely.

What if the site is down during clinic hours?

Uptime commitments and what happens if we miss them are in the SLA. If something is wrong, say so immediately — we would rather hear it from you than find it later.

Do you charge for updates?

No. New features arrive on your plan without an upgrade invoice.
