Online payments
Two ways to get the money, and you choose
- Your own keys: connect Razorpay or Cashfree, switch each one between test and live, and settlements reach your account exactly as they do now.
- Or let Sqavio collect: no gateway account to open, and a payout to your bank the next working day.
- Both gateways can be live at once — the cashier picks, or the patient does.
- A wallet shows what has been collected, what fee applied and what is due to be paid out.

What owners ask about the money
Do I have to use Sqavio to take online payments?
No. You can connect your own Razorpay or Cashfree account, in which case the money settles to your bank exactly as it does today and we never hold it. If you would rather not set up a gateway at all, Sqavio can collect and pay out to you the next working day.
What are the charges on an online payment?
With your own gateway keys, you pay your gateway’s rate and Sqavio adds nothing. When Sqavio collects on your behalf, a platform fee applies and is shown on the payout before it is paid out — never as a surprise deduction.
Can we still take cash?
Of course, and most clinics mostly do. Cash, your card machine and your UPI QR are all recorded against the bill, so the day-close adds up without anyone counting slips.
Can I add my own payment method?
Yes. Add “Our HDFC card machine” or “Front desk UPI QR” in your own words, and that is what the cashier sees. Switch one off and it disappears from the counter without touching old bills — an old bill keeps the name it was paid with.
Is the invoice GST-ready?
Yes. Rates are set per line, the GST summary is on the invoice, and your GSTIN sits on the letterhead. Whether a particular clinical service is taxable is a question for your accountant, not for software.
