Reminders

Fewer no-shows, and nobody chasing

The messages a clinic knows it should send and never has time for — written once, sent automatically, with a record of every one.

Each one can be switched off. Each one is written in your words.

Your words

Templates you control, with a preview before you save

  • Edit any message and see the patient’s version as you type, with real names, times and amounts filled in.
  • Emails go out as proper HTML — your clinic name, the invoice or prescription attached, and a small “no reply” line at the bottom.
  • A variable you do not use simply disappears; a patient never receives a stray {curly brace}.
  • Switch a message off entirely if it is not how your clinic works.

Doing it properly

Consent, opt-out and a record of both

Asked, not assumed

Consent to be messaged is a separate question from booking an appointment, and it is never pre-ticked.

A working opt-out

Every channel carries a way to stop, and stopping takes effect immediately.

A log you can check

What was sent, to whom, when, and whether it was delivered — with the reason when it was not.

What we do not do

These are service messages about a patient’s own appointment, bill or prescription. Sqavio does not send marketing to your patients, does not sell or share patient lists, and does not use one clinic’s patients to reach another’s. Promotional messaging on WhatsApp has its own rules and template approvals, and health data deserves a higher bar than the law’s minimum.

Questions

What clinics ask about messaging

Do I have to write the messages myself?

No. Every message ships with sensible wording you can use as it is. If you want your own tone, edit the template and a live preview shows exactly what the patient will see, including their name and time filled in.

Will a patient get the same reminder twice?

No. Each message is recorded once per event per patient, so a retry or a restart cannot send it again.

What about patients who do not want messages?

Consent is asked for separately from the booking, and every message carries a way to stop. Someone who opts out stops receiving them, which is both the law and basic manners.

Is there a limit on messages?

Your plan includes a monthly allowance of WhatsApp and email messages. When you reach it, sending pauses and the log says why rather than failing silently. You can move up a plan at any time.
